From the very beginning, Ryan was "born to show". Owning the ground came easy and it's this type of attitude we look for in every puppy born. Ryan was our pick puppy in the repeat litter that earlier produced what would become GCHS Aurealis Coldplay, ROM and GCHB Aurealis I Am Whimsical. Ryan had the classic and correct Collie Expression we hold dear, a gorgeous well placed eye paired with a full muzzle. Ryan's outline was commanding, with substance and masculinity. Ryan began his career with a Best In Specialty from the BBE Class over top CCA-winning Champions. Ryan would go on to rank in the prestigious Hawkin's System three different times and win two coveted CCA Award of Merits. Currently the sire of 26 American Champions, Ryan was the first Rough ROM that also holds a Gold Grand Champion title, proving that top show dogs can also be top producers. Ryan's legacy is greatly instilled in our breeding program and many others through his top producing daughter, Ch. Aurealis Rumor Has It, ROM and his top winning and dominant sire grandson, GCHG Southland Aurealis Island Nights, ROM. A dog like Ryan comes but once in a lifetime.
